About
Hello, I'm Mrs Sorted, but you can call me Amy!
I help people get rid of excess so they can live a simply uncluttered life. I also offer odd job and assistance services to help my clients spend more time doing what matters to them.
Simplifying Decluttering & Organising
My aim is to simplify decluttering and organising, so if you are feeling daunted, uncertain where to begin or how best to tackle what you have, I am here to recommend and help you implement the techniques and systems that are best suited to you and your requirements.
As a Professional Decluttering & Organising Consultant, I support my clients through their decluttering and organising journey. I am your accountability partner, keeping you on track and a second pair of hands to speed up the process.

Specialising in Decluttering & Moving Home
My Approach
Cluttered or 'messy' homes may be a source of embarrassment or shame for many people, but it shouldn't be... Everyone's lives are different, complex and busy. I respect client individuality and remain non-judgemental and supportive in the advice that I provide. However, I will ask the difficult questions to get you to where you want to be.
I do not subscribe to a specific decluttering/organising method or style because not all techniques are suitable for everyone. I prefer to guide my clients and help them implement those that are most suitable based on their goals and personal situation. Having said that, I do incorporate principles of Minimalism and Swedish Death Cleaning, which I find to be powerful motivators, especially for families and those downsizing.
Why I Started
In 2018, my partner and I bought our first home together and even though we were 'flying the nest', we had too much stuff for the tiny house we had purchased. One day whilst browsing Netflix, I came across the documentary, Minimalism. Thinking it was about minimalistic home design, I pressed play and discovered more than how to style my home...
Minimalism was a lifestyle documentary that changed my life. It helped me determine what was most important to me, spending time with and experiencing life with my family, not purchasing stuff that I didn't really need. I went down the rabbit hole and came into home decluttering and organising as a profession. My passion for what I have learnt and continue to learn is the why behind my blog and services.
